About
Brian McCullough, P.Eng
Brian McCullough is a graduate of civil engineering from the University of New Brunswick specializing in Water Resources. In 1978 he began a 25 year career with Ducks Unlimited in Alberta and Atlantic Canada. He was involved in all aspects of engineering in the development of dams, fishways, culverts, bridges and roads. This included surveys, hydrologic and soil investigations, design, contract management and project construction. Brian is a recognized authority on the design and construction of fishways in Atlantic Canada. He has been involved in scores of fishway projects throughout the region. These have included such types as denils, pool and weir, natural and Steep Pass Alaskan fishways.
Since retirement from DU in 2004 he has been an engineering consultant based out of Amherst, NS specializing in dams and fishway construction. He continues to consult for Ducks Unlimited Canada and for a variety of municipal, federal and provincial governments in the Maritimes.
